While searching for adorable Disney related items, I stumbled across the beautiful jewelry from Julie of Bead on a Stick Creations. The Minnie Mouse pendant was what actually caught my eye, but she offers so much more than that! All of the beads used to create this jewelry have been purchased from a self representing glass artist, and are used by Julie to craft these magnificent and beautiful pieces. To the Minnie pendant, she has added beautiful Swarovski crystals, genuine black Onyx stone beads, and sterling silver findings. The pendant hangs about 2" long and you can add whatever type of necklace you like. Want to win one of these beautiful pendants for yourself? Then check out the details below. This pendant would be a beautiful, yet subtle, addition to your wardrobe for your next Disney trip or every day. It's a great way to show your love of Disney without being over the top, too cheesy, or too juvenile. And if you want more, Julie has several other pieces to match including a bracelet/keychain set, cell phone charm, earrings, and bookmark. All of the pieces in Julie's shop are fabulous and there is literally something for everyone. A few of my other favorite pieces are her blueberry cupcake earrings, pink floral/crystals cell phone charm, and pink Pansy Pansies bracelet. Definitely check out her shop, and tell her I sent you!

To kick off the Mommy Works Potty Party I couldn't think of a more perfect product than the Potty Princess Kit, hand created and designed by Christina of CV Creationz. This kit has everything you need to get your girly girl potty trained, even down to the toilet paper (perfectly pink of course)! I'll let the creator tell you a little about it, before I tell you about it myself. From CV Creationz:
"They say positive reinforcement is great for teaching children potty training. What better reinforcement for little girls to potty train than to become a "Potty Princess" after completing this cute little kit. With this kit you can use the special pearl charms as a reward for successful potty training. There are 14 pearl and swarovski crystal charms that get attached to this cute little Swarovski Crystal pink and clear bracelet. Each charm is attached with a spring ring clasp. At the end of the 14 days hopefully you will have successfully made it to the completion of potty training and you can then reward your daughter with her last pearl, a princess crown charm to attach to the end of her bracelet and a Completion Certificate from the 'Potty Princess' Academy."
The basic training method in the "Potty Princess Academy" is the addition of a charm to the precious beaded bracelet for every successful "potty day". I think this method would work especially well for older girls having difficulty potty training! What little girl wou
ldn't want to become a Potty Princess?? My daughter is only 19 months, so I altered the method a little by giving her a charm for every successful poo-poo in the potty, rather than once daily. This worked great!! Even at 19 months, EG knows that the bracelet is something special and different, and she loves to wear jewel
ry! So, I knew that adding charm to her "baseit" (bracelet) would be motivation for her. We gave her a prize for any kind of "potty", but the charms were specifically reserved for you know what. She recognized the difference and I truly think it encouraged her to try to "go" more in the potty. We haven't quite made it to 14 days or "Potty Princess" status, but we're working on it! The bracelet has definitely not gotten old for EG, and every time she wears it she says "look, piddy (pretty)". Honestly though, her favorite part about the kit is the pink toilet paper! I don't know what we'll do when it's gone! She loves her pink paper (or "pay pair" as she says it...sounds French!), and we'll have to find more when it's gone. Luckily she doesn't h
ave to use very much each time. We are so enjoying the kit!! Over all I think the Potty Princess kit is awesome, and so different than any I've ever seen or heard of! The kit comes with all necessary materials for Potty Princess training including:
1 beautiful Swarovski crystal bracelet 14 crystal and pearl charms 1 Princess crown charm 1 Princess box with storage on top for charms, and underneath for bracelet 1 roll of Royal Princess Tissue (magenta toilet paper) 1 Potty Princess completion certificate1 Potty Princess fairy tale including directions and potty training tips on the back
All items are so cutely matching and are adorned with princesses and the Potty Princess logo. The tips included are very useful, and I think this kit is an excellent motivator for little girls! If my little girl was so excited, imagine how excited a two and a half or three year old with difficulty potty training would be!! There is truly no detail left out, and all of the materials come packaged in a cute little Potty Princess box complete with label and bow. I think the Potty Princess training kit is a breath of fresh air in the potty training world, and is too much fun! And think, when you little girl is finally an official Potty Princess, she'll always have the bracelet to wear and keep no matter what. You would pay $25 for the bracelet alone at many places. How's that for getting your money's worth?
I know you'll want to try the Potty Princess kit with your little girl, or you know someone you'll want to gift it to, so follow the directions below to buy or WIN!! Your little girl already potty trained? Then check out the all new Tooth Fairy kit from CV Creationz to help make losing those first teeth special and fun! Thanks Christina for creating some innovative and fun products for our little girls!

Woohoo! Another great giveaway! The ladies over at SmartMom sent some of their Teething Bling jewelry my way...and also sent some for YOU to win! So what is Teething Bling you ask? It's simple, stylish jewelry made for teething. We all know that little ones LOVE anything they are not supposed to touch, especially if that something is hanging around mommy's neck, or keychain, or wrist, etc. So, to avoid having jewelry yanked and broken (and have unsafe materials in baby's mouth...), two moms created the SmartMom Teething Bling. It comes in many different styles, solids and patterns, and is designed for moms of little ones. The jewelry is made of phthalate free, food safe silicone designed specifically to be safe for little ones' mouths. From the SmartMom website:
"We use only the highest-quality, phthalate-free, federally approved silicone in our Teething Bling™ line. The material is non-toxic, latex-free, food–safe, even dishwasher-friendly! It is the same silicone used in many other popular teething products and SGS test reports are available upon request. Although we stress that this is adult jewelry not intended for children to wear, all of our pendants come with a breakaway clasp as an added safety feature."
I was sent the Jade donut shaped pendant and the Blue Camouflage Gift Set (up for grabs!). The first thing I noticed was the nice size, and beautiful color of the pendant. I was worried that it might look like an inexpensive piece of plastic, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looked. I doubt anyone would be able to tell that it was made of "teething material" unless you were very close or holding it. I put it on immediately to see if my 17 month old would notice. I have pretty much avoided any and all jewelry because I have had two necklaces broken in the last 17 months (one guess as to how...). I was particularly interested in this jewelry for nursing, more than teething. Although my daughter will still be cutting more teeth, I think she has plenty to be able to dent up this necklace pretty good! However, she is still nursing and is very easily distracted by other things going on. I thought that maybe this might give her something to focus on and hold while nursing. Lo and behold, it worked great for this! She loves for me to wear necklaces so that she can break ummm...errr grab them (LOL). This one she was actually able to grab, pull, and even bite if she got the inclination. It kept her entertained and I really enjoyed wearing it. I think any nursing mom, or mom of a teething baby would really enjoy having some of this jewelry! Thanks SmartMom for a great product!
Up for grabs in this giveaway is the Blue Camouflage Set which includes a bangle, heart shaped keychain, and donut shaped pendant. Good luck and thanks for visiting!

Ever wonder how to keep track of what time you last nursed or fed your baby? And if you're nursing, which side you last nursed from? Those seem like things that wouldn't be hard to remember...or so I thought before EG was born. With a newborn baby, and even a toddler, it's hard to keep track of what happened five minutes ago, much less a few hours. I would have loved something easy and obvious to keep with me all the time to help me remember these things! Too bad I didn't discover the nursing bracelet until now! This handy little bracelet from chunky monkey toes is all you need to keep up with feeding times, nap times, etc. And when your baby is older, you can find a new use for time tracking, or just wear it as a bracelet!
"Keep track of the time with a nursing bracelet! Works great for helping you to remember feedings, pumping, medications, appointments, and nap times!
The bracelet has the numbers of the clock and each of the 4 beads in between represent 15 minute intervals. Use the charm to keep track of time by moving it to the spot you want and clipping it on (it's a lobster claw clip).
It is a memory wire bracelet and can be adjusted slightly to your wrist size by bending it in/out a little."
One lucky reader has a chance to win one of these nifty little bracelets (the one pictured!) by following the entry instructions below. Good luck to all and be sure to check out my Working Mom's Guide to Nursing/Pumping!
